Morgan was a featured actress in AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. Morgan contributed a part of her earnings for the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects and also gave testimony at a special Congressional panel on AIDS awareness. She sits member of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as the Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted the AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline in relation to AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for her special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. In the spring, she starred with Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Then, she began the summer season by appearing in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It also included Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Morgan's next production sent Morgan to Luxembourg to be a part of Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred in the psychological thriller which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the network's history.
